I Care For Myself - Motion Graphics

I Care for Myself is a collaboration between myself and multi-media artist Babette Van Gerwen, as a commission for Ridley Road Market Bar.

Turning Babette’s original illustrations into a dynamic and thoughtful moving graphics piece, we explored the idea of finding your whole world in yourself, without external perspectives or attachment. We threaded through themes of empowerment throughout the entire design journey, using words from Jane Eyre (a well-known text for it’s early feminist perspective) and typography designed by women.
