Babette Van Gerwen and Will Kennedy are two multimedia artists and facilitators based in London.
To conclude their series of workshops, the pair put on an exhibition in East London, showcasing the artwork produced during the sessions. I worked with them to create a small zine, providing information about the workshop themes and inspirations, and create a piece of printed matter to complement the exhibition. The themes included water, mushrooms, people and birds to name a few, so I designed a spread for each of the 9 workshops. By keeping spreads simple, the creations of participants shone through and provided an interesting point of reference for people encountering the space.
